Diablo is one of the archdemons summoned during the war with the Holy Church. LN Chapter 72 (working off the official translation). He's probably the strongest creature that Rimuru straight up summons.

It's ova ofc. 23 episode is where main story stops and it's very unlikely to even reach Hinata fight. (With the current pacing)
I think it means like the the end of the main story of which is going to be adapted ie probably next arc maybe arc after. With how much content there is, there is no way they can finish all the way till the end in the 9 remaining episodes of main story. + judging from op, hinata shows up fighting rimuru as final action scene in op, good indication will be climax of season.
I hope not...if they cut out a lot, including the (deleted) arc, with the flying (deleted), they might be able to make it... Use episode 23/24 for the conference... As they’ve revealed Clayman, it makes sense to get a resolve of Clayman to end the main series.
They might not cut the flying (deleted)...the new ending has shows the flying (deleted)! Well, the old ending showed a Karion...but the new ending showed the tiger and snake (deleted) and the kitty cat...
I hope the information about 23 is wrong...I hope the studio changes their minds and do the Hinayana and ascent arc.
