/been busy cramming translations so I'm still not done yet but
Yes, MC's memory problem gets fixed. It's a very happy and satisfying ending.
Here's a short breakdown of the fate of those w/ their past memories:
    1. died in a fire
    2. killed by wolves
    3. had their memories wiped, now on MC's side
    4. killed by MC & ML's (sort of) ally
    5. stopped trying to kill MC, living his own life
    6. drowned by non-cultivators
    7. killed by MC
    8. killed by MC
    9. killed by his own disciple
    10. alive the last time he showed up, never mentioned again, probably died of old age

Personally I read with MTL (chuck the novel into google translate and try to puzzle out what happens - it's a learned skill!) Others read in the original language. Give MTL a try maybe you'll be able to understand :)

Welcome to the world of machine translations~ Where all your language goes down the drain and brain turn into mush.

All for the sake of reading just a wee bit faster.

Hahahaha, reminds me of the time I struggled to accept the 'he' .. Well, pretty much done the same thing like replacing he to she.. Because the plot is too engrossing.. Thus I have cross the boundaries.. Aye~~ my pure mind..

    Wow, atleast they weren't tormented..

All hail machine trans! (Dude, this is your all-time ally across the language boundaries..)

I've just started MTL-ing for a few weeks and found that some novels turn your brains into swiss cheese, but some others can be read easily. I guess it also depends on the writer's writing style and theme (i.e. xuanhuan vs school life). Using several translator also helps. I usually use Google and Bing translate side by side, it's easier to guess what's happening that way because something Google unable to translate can be translated pretty well using Bing and vice versa

Don't forget a pop up dictionary extension so you could get some words out in Bing.

And it's harder to MTL in phone *sniffs*

We'll its better to have a popup dictionary especially when using bing so that you can verify the characters used. It's an extension in chrome. You just hover it over a character and it gives the meaning and or uses
