    I'm looking for something with tragedy, pain, death, destruction and all the nice things that will make you cry. ( Can't believe I didn't mention it yet, I want an anime.) So yeah, something that makes the audience borderline suicidal. Thanks in advance.

    Awe damn you're looking for anime, and I thought you're looking for dark and psychological novel .... hmmm
    No Game No Life: Zero - tragedy(check), pain(check), death(check), destruction(check) and all the nice things that will make you cry(check). though I've only read the novel.

    Plastic Memories and Your Lies in April will make you cry for days and leave a hole in your soul. Those two were probably the 5th or 6th anime I'd ever watch. I regret not preparing my heart and having those as my first. My intro into anime was a rough rode. I watched OreImo (my 4th every anime) with full ignorance until it hit me at the end.

    Something dark maybe try Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?, Akame ga Kill, Re:Zero, maybe even try the infamous Pupa.

    Zankyou no terror and Angel beats? I cry during every anime though so who knows if they're actually that sad..
    And Death note's animation made me cry.
