Please reccomend me something/anything that doesn't follow the usual/popular formulas and has something unique or refreshing about it.

record of unusual creatures Superstars of Tomorrow traffords trading club crossing the future, it's not easy to be a man silent crown
Legend of the Supreme Soldier Something new? How about the 'running away' and 'getting chased' for more than 400 chapters?
Sorry but this from a quick look seems like the usual cultivation formula? What make this new? I tried it before but failed to hook me. Read them all already and like them. ( except genji only bcs it's not my cup of tea not cuz it's bad.) (google sensei is like bad fanfic crack bad but amusing) Read it already and liked them. Can you tell me what makes them unique? Magus looks generic? what makes it new? Girl read it and liked it. Lich I heard it gets better after first few chapters but they hard to get trhough. That seems like generic power fantasy. Will give it a check.
To Be a Power in the Shadows is kind of ish a parody making fun of absurdly dense/stupid protagonists and other common tropes in japanese novels while actively doing the same thing, but it also has some... moderately? serious story. How much you enjoy it will vary greatly depending on how you feel about japanese novels in general Because, to be fair, other than the fact that it's making fun of others that do the same thing, it is indeed, to a degree, a power fantasy
Maybe something like: Cultivation Chat Group (Quiet unusual for CHN novel to have an MC's that's not an arrogant young master IMHO. In fact, both him and/or other characters usually become the butt of the joke) The Deer & The Cauldron (the MC's not even a martial artist, so he get out of the troubles by using his gift of gab)
Nope, sheer chunni comedy... Read the first chapter, if the horrible chunni-ness doesn't make you scream and run out into the night, (naked) you will be giggling hysterically, binge read all the chapters and gave a smile on your face. Incredibly funny, (if you grit your teeth past the chunni...which in itself is completely hilarious) you will love.
record of unusual creatures - guy ends up working for a god, helping out and sometimes boarding the unusual creatures of this world in his house (an unlucky elder vampire who's more like a housewife, an odd werewolf, a half human half siren, a pacifist demon, etc. its slice of life one moment and utter chaos the next. Superstars of Tomorrow - old guys dies in war and ends up in a new body hundreds of years in the future and decided to enjoy his new life and become a composer. so far he's written music, worked with virtual idols, spent time herding sheep with his freaky dog, become the number 1 gamer, joined the military for his year of service, fought terrorists, and become an actor. it gets really random but interesting. traffords trading club - guy ends up having to broker deals in order to keep on living, or the club will take his life and soul. episodic at times and some of the deals don't work out the way you think they would. crossing the future, it's not easy to be a man - girl is reborn hundreds of years in the future and in order to keep the death benefits from her father she must pretend to be a boy until she's eighteen. one of the few Chinese novels with a female lead that I can stomach. no court intrigue or overbearing, dominant male leads three times her age. silent crown - music is magic. has a slow start but its weird and interesting once he gets to the city. a bit surreal at times and sometimes dark in a Tim Burton kind of way.
