so while trying to sleep, i was swallowing my saliva and while doing so i felt something rupture inside my throat. in the top left side, right below my chin to be exact.
I now have a little pain in the area where i felt it, i have some uncanny feeling when swallowing and i taste blood near this area. also, my chin has gloated a little.
the issue is it's 0:30 for me and i don't want to go to a hospital and would like to get a good night's sleep before. so if anyone has any medical knowledge of what happened to me and tell me what to do if they have any idea as to what the f** is going on and if i can sleep soundly with waking up dead due to internal bleeding.
    thanks

What country do you live in? Call whatever your emergency medical line is just to be sure. We're not doctors for the most part, so I'd suggest you call one.

If you have serious concerns, which it sounds like you do go to the hospital now and stop looking for help from internet strangers. Doctors will know much better than any of our guesses.

    It's never lupus,
And it's not consistent with the symptoms

It’s probably best to stay up until you’ve identified what’s actually going on, and then sleep later. It should be fine to oversleep for health issues
See if you can talk with the doctor about it over the phone to check what it is.
But seriously identify whether it’s urgent first, because otherwise just sleeping away could mean it’s worse when you wake up

Just some advice, don't trust internet medical advice. Even without the snake oil salesmen and believers, medical doctors also have their specialized fields, for example, a neurosurgeon will only be able to give the most general advice towards orthopedics (broken bones) or a Pediatric doctor will only be able to generalize Oncology (Cancer) cases. It really is best to go to a hospital in most cases where they can match your problem with a specialist doctor.

lol wait, why was your first thought LE? lol! :ROFLMAO:

    i know that lol
but when you are studying medicine, you first have a general knowledge of the human body that can be pretty useful to understand or infer from the area the potential risks involved, and since i knew someone with medical knowledge in the forum i just tried my luck to see if there was anyone else.
