You are probably right. The rules description usually goes over my head and I just skim them. Seems like this tournament still has a ways to go. Then The MC has to enter the pagoda.

 

Jiang Chen criticism of the other guy using verbal provocation is kinda hypocritical when it's almost his go-to weapon. Trying to pretend he's above it all seems rather silly.

 

I don’t think Jiang Chen verbal spars unless the other party starts it. So I wouldn’t consider him arrogant.

How many young lords will be allowed to enter the martial pagoda. I am wondering if the 36 young lord has a chance to enter even though 36 is not MC. Just curious

This part is slow as heck. If he has to challenge until he gets to #1 then get challenged again (maybe, rules were unclear to me), this is going to take a ton of chapters.

 

This contest has to be where Jiang Chen finally meets his baby mama. Not looking forward to 10 chapters of ex-girlfriend and girlfriend glaring and ignoring each other.

 

I think it depends if he reveals his true identity to the world when he wins. I think Emperor Peafowl suggested he can do that. Or else maybe the emperor just introduces the MC to her if he makes him his successor.

 

Either way it’s far, far overdue. She ‘disappeared’ around 500 chapters ago, if not more..

 

Wow, these last few chapters have been so painfully bad. It's hard to read them. It's starting to feel like it did with MW, WDQK and TGR, before I decided to put them on long-term hold.

And, to be frank, JC did kinda cheat by using the dragon to fight for him.

 

Yeah the cheating in a competition is a little out of character for JC. He is also giving dragon blood out like its tofu to his friends as well. I thought powerful people can detect the aura from far away and the coiling dragon fellow just opens the stopper like its nothing. I remember JC told that mentor (Fei’s master) to do it in a secluded place.
