The biggest problem with TDG was its breakneck pace which doesn't reflect about anything at all, half the stuff he gained aren't mentioned again or used once, mentioned how OP they are, then he gets something better within 20 chapters and doesn't even bother to sell them. It's also why it's an enjoyable read but it's frustrating later because of it.

That said probably won't bother to read this till it reaches at least a minimum of 100+ chapters and going by @RebirthofNovel synopsis of 270 chapters it sounds like it's not at a breakneck speed (no other worlds mentioned right before they go in) so it could end up being worth the time despite how far in quality TDG is dropping and it's writing pace.

Dark one's fathe was a general who helped kingdom in war, but king didnot like him getting more power so he framed and had him arrested then used his enunchs to kill him.
Ye ziyn's father was this dead guys friend so in anger he storms the palace and kills the enunchs for which king places him in house arrest to later kill him.
Dark one believed ye ziyun's father was responsible for his fathers death so he wanted revenge.

Well its cause he thought her daddy killed his daddy, but the mc didn't let him kill his girl and didn't let his girls family kill him, later on it turns out that the girls family did not know that he was going to be killed, the demon that took over the empire killed him to force the girls family to act so he would (A) Have a reason to label them as traitors and wipe them out and if that failed he would (B) waken their fighting power and moral, they also found out that the demon also raped and killed the girls mother, so it all works out

 

Ah you are right, but tbh I hope he just ends it and go back to TDG, personally I prefer that, this one seems a bit...idk subpar I guess you could say, I'm just not feeling these new char's

 

Honestly I wish he would continue TDG as well. I always had a feeling we were maybe at the halfway point. If he rushes the ending itll just feel subpar to me, which is depressing. Plus...cant he bond with multiple spirits..hes not even halfway number wise.

 

Chapter 335 are end of book 1 (28-9-2016) , in the author note he says he took a break before resuming again.

So what happens in the end? Did Xia Yuning's father die? What happened to Xia Yuning & An Xueyun? What happened to Lin Hong? And did the bastard emperor die? If so, who killed him? Finally what's the power level of the MC at the end?
