Romance of Dragon and snake Political play doesn't come into play until later in the translation. No harem, bonus. As for romance, none so far. Slowly building up in power, definitely calm and collected unlike most xianxia. He also doesn't get arrogant after growing (so far in translation) strong. Doesn't get pushed around like a puppet (cough WSK) Comedy barely exist. No flashy powerup like xianxia and its more of wuxia story (imo) As for the modern aspect, ill say it's based around year 2001 when internet starts to grow into the world
