Chapter 95 is the shortest chapter of any novel i've read in my life.

 

Yo, haven't read the story in a week or two cause of the long ass intermissions after Ai crisis. So have the girls made a appearance again? Seriously love the series like the characters like the environment but looking forward to the frosty and sunny chicks more than anything! (Said no one ever)

Well, I am a fan of Infinity novels, just want to exchange opinions about translation.
Seeing table the contents on QI made me lost hope of their translation.

 

I don't think that it's because he has no fear that he intelligent, in fact in one of the chapters he states that one of the characters he meets is more intelligent then him possibly. The reason he seems intelligent is because of his love for analysis, he says that he loves Sherlock Holmes and the ways he breaks down and analyzes everything so as a child he trained so he could be like that. So the intelligence that he has was trained up. And plus with his, cough cough plot convenience, no fear ability it boilsters his analytical abilities since it's not hindered by things like fear, panic, etc... All in all it's a good read tho.

 

The previous tl of it was wuxiadreams. they tled hundreds of chapters before getting kicked so they don't have any time to redo it and you know how qidian is... just got pushed to post it regardless. there's like something wrong in every line for them My tler would had willingly let qidian take back the novel if their translation were good.... but it sucks so we'll continue. It's too good of a novel for qidian to butch damn it...

 

Yeah, it's very hard to translate this novel properly. When I first read it I need google+baidu and still understand about 95% at most.

Let's clear this misconception, this novel isn't like Terror Infinity at all.

 

Can you consider fixing these things:
C8: "wool comes from the sheep’s back" means "produce something from already existed resources"
C30: "You’ve obtained the reward- Time Lord’s Respect" -> "You’ve obtained the reward of Time Lord"
"Puzzle Piece" -> "Item Aquiring Card" (as I read, those are cards, player make card combinations to exchange for items)

Worst translation quality i've yet to see on Qidian. Makes me want to Death Poke my eyes out.
At least they no longer call a pipewrench a Mario wrench. Totally kills immersion of a suspenseful novel when you're using Mario in there.

 

Almost up to the point where i'm like i don't want to read this anymore,.if he were wrong would he have responded 'false' too?

 

This is a great story, but some parts need to be skipped.
I personally skip these:

Spoiler: Don't click if you don't want to read spoiler

- South Park arc: don't like that cartoon
- Monster Inc arc: boring arc
- DIE EASY arc: One Piece is a storage of drug??? Though I still think what Feng Bujue did to President Obaba (yes, I don't write that wrong) is funny

 

They don't sound like they'd be much of a 'terror' suitable pick.

 

Surprisingly, not all of the brain contributes to what we call "intelligence". Some parts do specific things like control your senses or emotions. Lobotomy (removing part of the brain ) was legitimately used as a treatment for mental disorders and in some rare cases actually helped without major side effects. It's possible (in theory) to have brain damage completely destroy your sense of fear without losing intelligence... but the affected area (the amygdala) has a lot of other functions. Even in the example I linked, she can still fear some things and has a few other problems to deal with. Also, if the amygdalae are both completely destroyed, the fear would be gone permanently. No chance of recovery. If they're just damaged, what he's doing is probably the right way to regain his sense of fear.

You're right Fluffums, but that's not the case of this MC. His fear was blocked by supernatural cause.
