@Ivivivi @Lynne I remember that he was really stuck between either going to the army (which would mean leaving her for 5 years) or staying in Beijing with her. In the end, he chose the army. But once he got to the army, he kinda panicked and realized that he made the wrong choice and started crying and regretting. But then he got into an accident which made him completely forget about her.

Is this the novel where the MC and ML were unknowingly pen pals? And then by the end, when MC got pregnant with the ML's child, MC decided to go far away. She writes a letter to her pen pal saying that "she is leaving for the sake of the person she's going away with" (she's actually referring to her child in the letter) so this is the last letter she will be sending and ML (who already knew by that time that his pen pal is the MC) thought that MC is marrying someone else.
I know that some people dont like this novel..but i like this novel very much.there are some sweet and funny scene inthe middle of story.dont stop to read this novel at the beginning..the sweet scene will start from chapter 100+

The thing that kept me reading for the first 10 chapters was the writing. Whoever translated this novel, did a wonderful job. Now, it would be awesome if someone, who had read the entire novel, can save some reader the anguish by summarizing important points.
