this bug arc is really dragging on, i think i've only really read maybe 2 out of past 10 chapters, and just skimmed the rest. these fights just aren't doin it for me.
I wonder if this novel is good,, I am on the fence for sometime but never step in. I consider my self patient since i usually force myself to read a novel, despite the plot, for tens or hundred chapters before deciding to continue or leaving..
i've skimmed so many chapters in a row now, it's starting feel like when i would try to watch one piece, see that they're still fighting, and then just watch somethin' else until next time, rely on the "previously on..." to catch me up on anything actually important, and hope for something interesting to happen and truly push the plot forward again some other time. i think if things get dragged out for more than 3 chapters one more time, i'll probably abandon ship shortly after.
Hey guys, can anyone help me? I have trouble imagining the designs of some soul pet. Ning --> Regice Zhan Ye -> Rhinoceros Beetle Devil Tree -> Groot As you see, I'm confused about how they look.
Idk why but I've always imagined zhan ye as a boar like creature with an exoskeleton/carapace and feet that are wolfish in shape (probably 99% non canon though)
Zhan ye is repeatedly described as dark, insect and beast type with black spiked armor and a tiger like look. I always imagine Ning as being thinner rather than bulky and somewhat feminine. I wish we could get some official art of the soul pets.
hey there i wanted to post a link to a chard I made as an overview of the soulpet / trainer system and of the current Chu Mu... but since i haven't commented enough then i'll post it after discussing the novel a bit
yeah that part was also pretty drawn out, and truth be told i think a lot of the fighting in the novel is. But I think the author is trying to give a good overview of the fights while explaining tactics... but yeah some of the "farming" can be a bit of a drag to read.
