so, this guy breaks into the formation, goes on his way to get what he came for, and ning just goes off to advance to next level? doesn't this usually take a rather long time? most of his breakthroughs lately take upwards of months, don't they? not to mention people are at their most vulnerable during such things. seems rather... incompetent of him to decide to do that now, given the current situation. i mean, i know the author has issues with time but this... things goin ning's way on this is just a bit too forced here. considering ning said he'd be capable of beating the ninedust sectlord back with the formation's help, he should have at least done that and then done his level up while the guy licks his wounds and the power-up and deal with him permanently afterwards.
Maybe he can use that time accerlation thing. dont know if it is capped at 100x time or if it can go faster
i don't think they use that when breaking through because it hinders their access to energies/laws/dao of the universe or something since it's rate of absorption can't keep up with the time increase essentially "starving" them and hindering the process. apparenlty his breakthrough to a daolord took a mere 2 hours for him to rebuild his body and advance, though. coulda sworn one of his earlier breakthroughs lasted around 6 months, but i can't seem to find anything on those at the moment.

I'm getting really annoyed with the theme of suddenly raising prices when people are in need. I'm also getting annoyed with how stingy the characters are. Are these Chinese values? wtf.
Well they were just fighting to the death a few days ago, Ning overcharging him based on that makes a lot more sense.
I keep getting the feeling that gaining eternity isn't harder the more powerful the dao but harder because perfecting a complicated and powerful dao is hard so many verge level with multiple supreme daos attempt eternity without fully comprehending their dao for various reasons.
