No, you didn't understand the mtl. The prince said the fl is a 'Beautiful liar' because she lied about being friend with Lune because Lune is supposed to be a cold person and he hates women.
Spoiler: Spoiler In the latest raw, the ML turned into human just for a minute. When the ML and FL were talking near the fountain, the ML suddenly shines and he transform into a very big bunny. Then the FL saw him and faint, then the ML carried her to her bedroom before transforming back again. Also, when the ML gifted her a necklace, it turns out to be a mana stone which is connected to the ML. The princess pointed it out and ask whether they were friends (the ML and Fl) because the only thing to receive the mana stone is that aside form buying, is from gifting. Then the Crown Prince took the FL privately and asked whether they were really friends and the FL have no choice but to answer Yes and made up a story were the ML has a bunny and she took care of it... It seems like after that the CP and the Marquis ( enemy of the FL’s family) talked about what the FL said and now they thought she was a liar but still secretly encourages her more to lie. Because according to what they know, the ML hated bunnies (because it looks weak and just cute). The CP tried to test FL by asking to be the bridge between the ML and CP. the CP was now baffled because he receives a letter and he did not know how the FL did that.
Fl realized that bunny understand her so she tested him by asking for the left hand and the right hand. Last test she asked for a kiss.
