Discussion The feeling of sudden enlightenment is somewhat addicting.

I think I'm craving for enlightenment (a particular truth). No, not the spiritual kind, but a logical kind. Every time I read a mystery, see a mystery in real life, or am forced to a situation where I need to critically think like some detective. It gives a tingling sensation at my nape, as a hard and cooling/boiling feeling flows in and out from the inside of my head. Obviously it's just muscles contracting and blood surging, but the electrical feeling makes me feel like a wise king. As if you unravel the mysteries before you, and gradually savor the enlightening taste of knowledge.

 

It's like taking a massive dump after holding it in for a long time.

 

And you stare at the ceiling for half an hour thinking about the meaning of life.

"The impurities in my mortal body has been cleansed"

is it the same when you see a mystery, you get all analytical, having hypothesis, then when one of your hypothesis got right, you get the chill??
