well, usually characters in anime have their unique appearance features, especially different hair colors , u know, all characters in this donghua are black-haired...they just want to give WWX a huge tag, I dont really think it's necessary though
I personally don't mind. In animes we rarely get to see more variety in a character's wardrope, so giving WWX different outfits, while also being loyal to the novel is something I appreciate. Besides, it's still nice to see the production team actually spending the time to design different outfits. The attention the character gets is nice. I hope others will get equal attention though.
