Volume 3 chapter 85: that was very anticlimactic. Fight and fail but sleep spell bingo. We got to see Lydia in a dress. Interesting lol~

 

Volume 3 chapter 86: sex sells but here it got trumped so easily. Damn Claude is good with the emotional sob story *claps*

 

Chapter 87: poor Lydia~ still can't use magic at all. How will that be solved? We can't have her falling behind the others right?

Volume 3 chapter 93: the fight against the kraken went well enough I guess. I get that Zeph has gone back in time at he's taking his time to get stronger than he was in his previous life. But he seems so weak right now. I hope his opness comes soon

From what I read it is a good casual harem novel. There isn't much of a plot so but is more focused on adventuring and training so far, that said Claude's suspicious future might be a hint of plot to come. Since he just sent his memories in the past he might seem a little inconsistent but can't blame him as he is a teenager who fools himself into believing he is an old man. I quite like the magic system as something thought out yet very easy to understand but for some reason some reviewers seem to think it is confusing and in one case boring(perhaps because it isn't as simplistic as using elemental categories).

 

Can anyone tell me why he has a selfish protagonist tag? I understand narcissistic protagonist to an extent as he thinks of himself as handsome and knows in detail of a future where he becomes the top red mage who invents time travel but a lot of the time he is preventing Clause from being bullied by her jerk brother, helping Lydia to not fall behind instead of abandoning her, hiding that he hunts without them so they don't get worried. He is actually a rather caring mc which is a contrast to every other novel which has this tag.

 

I agree with you. Selfish tag does not really belong except in the early chapters when he had a loner mentality before joining the guild. He is very caring towards his harem guild like working behind the scenes for their sake and going the extra mile, he's also fairly decent with other people unless they try to scam him or are very suspicious. Plus he puts himself in danger a lot of times to protect them, so its a very unsuitable tag as a whole.

 

MC offend guy from magic association for no reason at all. I mean, just ignore him or say - oh, ok. Now MC will fight against magic association. Also does this novel over? since 8th novel volume out last year and no more updates after that.
