Gula specifically said at the start that she can’t answer any of Jihu’s questions about Future Vision, and Black Seol told the same to Baek Jaehu just a couple chapters ago. That mean Black Jihu too is bound by the laws. And ffs, if the Gods are bound by the laws of causality because they can actively see the future, how the heck would a human that knows about the future not be bound too? The law of causality works for everyone, not just Gods (except Parasite Queen). That’s the whole basis for Jihu’s Lance of Nemesis skills too, it was specifically told in the description of the class and some of the skills that he can shift causality against his opponent at the price of a recoil and he could call for instant divine punishment on an opponent based on their own karma (best way to describe it). Bypassing causality by giving hints is the most the Gods can do. Seol could have never bought the seed of the World Tree and the Gods would have failed in their intention, because the “hint” was entirely dependent on Jihu wanting to clear shop by his own will. That’s their limit, they can set the table without telling anyone and just hope someone will sit on it, and they probably still take a hit for doing so.
