I think I'm most glad that this means the princess will survive it all. She's probably going to be a lot more forward with Seol after she's had time to recover from this. I'm also glad that not everyone was a lost cause on this mission, cause this could have easily been a situation where no one was able to be rescued.

 

Is it just me or the Princess looks exactly like Berserk's Griffith with pink hair? XD

Yeah, that's a bit of a pet peeve of mine in novels. Explaining things in dangerous situations, that obviously should've been properly reviewed and explained beforehand; what did they do all those days riding the carriage to get to the teleporter? Also, we have to remember that the characters are "reading out loud" the dialogue, which is quite a lot slower than us reading it.
It's obvious that it's for us, the readers, but I think there are ways to explain these things to us, without a character going on a 5min dialogue about biology, breaking some of the immersion (for me at least). I mean, Seol even asked, during the mission, if it was possible to save an infected person... That especially seems like something that should've been explained before the infiltration.
The group spent 2 weeks! fiddling their thumbs, searching for ways to save the captives. Yet, when Seol shows up with a plan, everything else gets thrown out the window. These guys are professionals, several lvl 6s who stand at the top in this world. Yet, they haven't gone through beforehand how to act in many possible situations; or they just couldn't be bothered to explain it to the guy who needed it the most, Seol.

 

They proved in Mythbusters that Jack and Rose would both fit on the make-shift raft at the end of Titanic. Both of them could survive but the director said despite that, Jack must die. It's in the script.

Seol must be left behind. It's in the plot. The writer adding more "conversations" wouldn't affect that result.

So I read the spoiler and shit, but did anyone actively remember the unknown sniper's existence?

 

I totally forgot about the sniper and thought they'd be able to escape but I like the current development. I look forward to seeing how Seol gets themselves out of that shit hole XD.

 

If the sniper could hit them out of nowhere, how the hell did the sniper lose the half crippled Princess, carrying the incapacitated Seol?

I have read Avarice until chapter 17 and put it on hold. I wanted to ask if Shin Sahng-Ah is a main charater in avarice? I hate her so much. If she is a main character I am gonna drop this novel.

If she isn't a main character, what happens to her? Does she die a painfull death?
