    Got tempted to read the MTL, luckily I was too stupid to find it. Aaand, I already ruined my ISSTH and ATG by binge reading hundreds of chapters ahead before stopping and never coming back...

    I like the novel because it's a lighthearted novel that's free of any most tensions common in Chinese novels and isn't just a cultivate, fight, cultivate kind of novel but a comedic novel where everything goes the protagonist's way and the author blatantly gives him plot armor which is fine because its not meant to be serious but fun.

    My guess is that someone wanted to assassinate the prince so they poisoned her lips so that when he came to wake her up, he would die. The assassin also spread the rumors to make sure he tried kissing her first

    I think the first one was that the noble took a fancy to the older sibling and was killed out of jealousy or to steal him for herself

    Not really any tragedy, so far the most tragic thing that happened to him is him making when he wants to squander money. The other tragic thing would be his first life but even then it's not really tragic but just the macguffin for the story to start and for the author to let the protagonist do things without having to explain it.

    ah okay then, that's good! well how about the title, is he become alchemist? or just he become alchemist but just in title without action, i mean without he success make elixir for his family use.
