Spoiler: MC backdround well lily is originally the daughter of a man (sry i forgot her father's name) from the main family of qin family and her mother was the daughter of an prominent bussiness woman in europe ...her grandfather is a former prince who left his right to throne to marry her grandmother ( IIRC her name is lilian)....well her story is that her mother ran away from her home (IIRC it was becoz she did not wanted to get into an arranged marriage) and came to china where she fell in love with a man who was already engaged...now the fiancee was the daughter of a from a different family who was friends with the head (the grandfather) of the qin family and he had died on the battlefield while fighting along side the qin head.....the fiancee believed that her father was killed by qin head in batllefield when qin head used her father as a shield to hide from the bullets shot by the enemies.....she became an orphan and the old qin head taking sympathy on her ..adopted her in his family and later engaged her to lily's father...her father also had a brother who was not as capable as him.....now the mother and father fell in love and the moher gave birth to twins a boy and a girl ....while she left the boy in the hospital ...she ran away with the baby girl...she with lily lived in a branch qin family as maid or ( or was it mistress) and lily as illegitimate child.... well years later she came back as a prominent business woman ......to take revenge on qin family ..she had not taken it yet beause of her grandmother from qin branch family ...the mother of the head of qin branch family....as she loved lily and always cared for her...so lily cannot bring herself to take revenge as it would cause her grandmother problems
Spoiler: the back story so well to know about revenge..I'll start from a bit back story of what happened..... there was some kind of promise of engagement between qin branch family and xuan hui's family( he is the EX-FIANCE) that made an engagement between lily and xuan hui...but lily's littler sister (we'll call her bitch1/b1) qin fei was jealous of her and was in love with hui ...also mother of qin fei did not like this arrangement as had lily had not been born..b1 would have been engaged to hui as the conditions was for the eldest miss.....also hui's mother did not like her bcoz she was illegitimate .... one day lily had a argument with hui over her little sister where she got real angry with him and ran off to bar and drank a little ..she ran to a bar where hui was a regular with the hope that there will go around a rumour and hui will come to her and coax her ...and take her back coz he would realize that she was precious to him ...while she was drinking , b1 , her mother(b2) (and i guess hui's mother (b3) was also involved in it)....somehow ha spiked her drink with a drug that will let her guard be more down ..it was not an aphrodisiac....so she got drunk...there she saw our ML staring at her...she went to him and started to dance with him and invited him and later got into bed with him....this allowed the bitches to take photos and all to create a drama.....next day lily thought it was an escort and left with hurry ..got herself checked for any disease..but on her wedding day her photos got leaked and she got kicked out of house...the engagement got cancelled ...she tried asking around for help but got nothing... that night (or near around...sorry that my timeline and dates and days are fucked up) she had a fight with her mother and she went out crying ..shouting when she and her mother got hit by a car...it was lily who was going to hit by a car but her mother came in to protect her.....the next thing knew was that she never saw her mother s they told her she was dead and she got her ashes? or something....and that sh knew she could never give birth again as she had lost her child....she counted the timeline back and realized it was the ML's child...
Spoiler: contuning: back story so wedding day she lost her mother and herself and hope to leave qin family....she was sent to mental hospital from from where she disappeared and as she fell into depression and tried to end her life in an alley where her maternal grandmother found her and brought her to europe ...from there she trained lily into a businesswoman
Spoiler: revenge 1 : qin family lily was called back to hong kong for the reading of grandmother qin's will ...she meets qin fei who's pregnant and xuan hui at an donut shop where her favorite gold leaf donuts are sold...lily asks her secretary to buy donuts for her while qin fei also requests for the same..and the scum went to fetch ..but the last donut was bought by secretary and even when threatened she did not give the donut ...since lily never came out of car ...scum and b1 never knew it was her and thought it was just some small bussiness woman who's cocky and tried to intimate her by telling scum's identity but lily just left the place...then b1 asked to know her identity as they did not know who was it ..... lily then went to an jewelry shop where her friend frenando who was the heir to the shop attended her to show her some jewelry when the stepmother bitch2 came ...so lily hid in a secret room from where she could see b2 and frenando ...so fernando tricked her into buying a jewelry at high amount witht he bribe of a vip card where b2 thought that with that card she would be invited into vip private parties and more glam and fam but it was the lowest tier of vip card which held no right to be invited to such parties.... next day she went to the will reading event at qin house when the nit the real father (qin mo) scolded her for not informing them about her well being and b2 asked her to apologize to he father when lily answered with "whose father" ...

Spoiler: zhuo jingren he belongs from zhou family...his father and mother fell in love but his mother who was from lee family was engaged to his father's brother who is nothing but crazy..the brother also fell for the lee daughter and hence tried to forcefully marry her....but the father -mother pair ran away after she gave birth to jingren...the lee head...isaac lee...faher of the lee daughter ..wanted her to marry zhou kang(the brother ) for profits and did not give her protection when kang massacred a lot of zhou family people....that isaac scum is an old manipulating man who only sees profits..nothing else..the mother and father were on run for years and always observing jingren from far away...when jingren went to japan he was adopted by a pair of old couple who knew his father and mother ...his adopted father was a yakuza leader who admitted jingren into underworld....
at the end of ch 522..lily faints...and everyone panics ..so jingren comes and a doctor is called ..that's when they ge to know that she is pregnant..this is revealed in ch 523 ....
