Another spoiler from google translating the raws. If memory serves right...

When MC was finding potions for Sora in the rubbish dump, she was attacked by some people from the slave trading organisation. That was when the Adandara appeared to save her. After the Adandara saved her, she was very relieved and grateful and was thanking the Adandara when her group of friends approached the rubbish dump to find her. They were tipped off that there could be people from the organisation intending to kidnapped her. When they saw her with the Adandara, they told her to get away from it as it was dangerous. That was when she was wondering what to do as she didn't tame the Adandara so she can't really say she did tame it when she was asked. That was when one of her friends asked if she tamed the Adandara since it has her tame mark on his forehead (the same tame mark that Sora has) and ask what was its name. So she came up with a name on the spot for the Adandara. Which is supposedly Ciel. It also means Sky (same as Sora). After her friends left, she questioned Ciel on how he has the taming mark since she doesn't have enough magic power to tame him and she couldn't feel her magic power coming from that tamer's mark on his forehead like she could with the tamer's mark on Sora's forehead. It was revealed that the Ciel copied Sora's taming mark and created it on his own forehead. He could make the mark appear and disappear as he liked. Which shocked MC because that is not supposed to be possible. A tamer's mark could not be copied as it was unique to each tamer and there is some special magic or something behind it. But somehow Ciel has managed it, which made the MC think that maybe Ciel is special too. But even so, she could not bring Ciel into towns as it would cause panic and fear since he is an Adandara. So Ciel mostly stayed in the forest outside of town and also accompanied her when she travels.

Later in the future, Ciel obtained the ability to transform into a slime. So MC could bring him into town with her. He has the appearance of a spotted slime. Kind of like a leopard printed slime.

Thanks for the spoilers both of you! I'm happy too since the spoilers that have been answered are at least based on the 2 things she needs and gives her happiness (plus a bonus on a lil' bit of Sora's abilities), a family (but whew. Took 200+ chapters for that adoption. Was the adopted parent put on a bus or something or did they join her on her adventuring because I'm just surprised it took so long to adopt her *unless ofc it was because of MCs mentality that prevented her from being adopted or outside interference) and ofc Adandara companion! Was there any explanation Sora's abilities/eating habits (like the mouth foaming, why thr sudden shift to red potion, when will Sora get to drink green/pain reliever potions?)

 

I haven't read how the parent came to adopt her... but what I have read is

Spoiler: Background to meeting Parent

A bit of a background... After the slave trader arc, MC continued on her journey to the next town. The friends she made in the town she was staying in during the slave trader arc advised her to buy a slave to protect herself. Not really as a fighting strength but more for security since she is a lone female travelling. It would also help if she finds a debt slave, since they are mostly adventurers who went into debt. There are different kind of slaves, which I am not going to explain here as it is not really relevant. If she finds an older debt slave, they can not only protect her physically, but can also teach her how to be a proper adventurer, since they used to be adventurers. And since they will be older, and debt slaves normally have a contract of like 5 -10 years, they will be able to give the impression of a father and child travelling, and by the time the contract ends, the MC will probably be old enough to register with the adventurer's guild and also be considered an adult. Right now she is still a child and a run-away. So her parents still kind of have jurisdiction over her, even though they are shitty parents... Thus, by contracting a debt slave, it reducing the chances of her becoming a target as a lone young female travelling. So her aim in the next town was to find a slave.

Spoiler: First encounter with Parent

On the way to the next town with Sora and Ciel (still as an Adandara), Sora suddenly ran away somewhere. When MC was giving chase, she came across an attacked merchant carriage. There, she found Sora wrapped around the arm of a severely injured adventurer. The adventurer has his arm chopped off, and Sora was healing the wound (not regenerating the arm, but just closing the wound). The adventurer was also stunned as he has never seen a slime do that before. Also the speed and skill in which Sora was healing the wound was amazing. No potions can heal the wound so cleanly like Sora did. MC didn't know how to explain to the adventurer, since Sora was special and she was afraid to revealing Sora, but it is too late to hide anything now since Sora revealed himself. MC also found it weird that Sora would reveal himself, as Sora is usually very smart, but seeing how Sora is friendly towards this adventurer, it must mean that it is okay to trust this adventurer. As the incident site was near the town, adventurers from the town soon came to the scene. As MC sensed they were approaching, she quickly asked Ciel to hide. The adventurer then told her to hide Sora, and if asked how his wound healed, say that she just threw whatever potions she could find on the wound, hoping that it would heal, and that is how this miracle of his chopped off arm healing happened. There were rumors that by combining different types of potions, there is a miraculous effect of elevated levels of healing. However, it is a random chance thing, no one know exactly how to replicate the event and what kind of combinations is required. So they were going to use this rumor and say that luckily somehow it happened to this adventurer.

This was the first meeting between the Parent and MC. This adventurer later then went on to accompany MC on her journey, then some stuff happened to build their relationship, and ended up with this adventurer officially adopting MC as his daughter. I'm in the middle of reading the part where they started adventuring together but haven't reached the part where he adopted her.

Regarding Sora's abilities, the ones that I can remember are...

One of his abilities is healing. As seen from how he healed Ciel and the adventurer. It is later mentioned that his healing abilities is similar to a 5 star light magic skill (I think it was 5 star).
Another one of his abilities is something like a danger sense. Sora is able to recognise friendlies and enemies, or dangers to the MC, or people/monster the MC can trust. Sora warns MC when there is a danger ahead (be it monsters or people). He is also able to identify people who are bad and people who are good. During the slave trader arc, this ability was recognised by the MC and used a lot. MC relies and trusts in this ability a lot. Using it to decide who she can trust and who she should be afraid of. Due to this danger sense, MC also relies on Sora to find a safe resting location for the night when travelling. But at other times, Sora has no sense of direction at all.

Regarding the red potions...

Sora continued eating red and blue potions, and eventually his colour started to change. He started to have a red tint, then spot, then eventually to distinct red and blue layers. When the MC arrived on the scene where Sora was wrapped around the adventurer's arm, healing his arm. She called out to Sora and heard two responses. That was when she noticed another slime. A red slime. The red slime responded to her when she called out to Sora. The red slime responded to the name "Sora". Later MC came to the conclusion that the red slime probably split off from Sora or something cause Sora no longer had that red layer to his colouring. As the red slime was already there before she noticed anything, and the adventurer didn't notice anything, it is hard to conclude how the red slime actually came about. The red slime also had a tamer's mark, but it was different from Sora's tamer's mark. So MC checked Sora's tamer's mark again and realised that it has changed. Now both slime has the same tamer's mark. That could only mean that somehow the red slime is also tamed by MC. MC named the red slime "Flem". Name might be wrong since it was google translated.

After that, Sora stopped eating red potions, but ate blue potions and swords instead. Sora also started producing glowing blue potions. The blue potions that Sora produced, when appraised, got the results of being unable to be appraised. Meaning that they could not find out the effect from an appraisal. However, later when used, it was found to be like an ultimate blue potion. Able to heal severe injuries quickly and stuff. But it was not a full recovery potion. It cannot regenerate limbs.

 

The latest novel update translation is a POV of the chief. And well... as expected, he's pure trash. Anyone knows how long till he and MCs family get the punishment they so richly deserve?

Thanks for the link for Ch.58! So they now know her true gender. Its a shame Ivy still feels she can't trust people easily. I wonder if she managed to come back like she said she would

You can Google the japanese name and find the raw online.... it’s like literally the first link...

 

The amount of people who do not realize they can just or are to entitled to try to use google to trivially find the raws is astounding.
Unless he story as been taken down it is normally a 1st page result.

An idea that the recent chapters have given me.

What if Ivy's weird star rating means that rather than taming monsters, she is tamed by them?

 

Based on some of the more "recent" raws, I think it means

She can tame, but has no force behind the taming, so needs to make an actual bond with the monster they same with how taming animals works here on earth, it seems monsters are able to throw off the taming others are using (like if they feel they are being abused, or develop a resistance over time)

 

If I am not mistaken she has two habilities, right? one is the starless Tamer, and the other one is unknown. I am curious if the other hability has been revealed?
