I think you probably would. Not everyone accepts gender bender yuri as yuri, and I think most people prefer non-genderbent yuri even if they do. There aren't many non-genderbent yuri on Scribble Hub as well, so your work might stand out a bit more. I'd personally be much more inclined to read it if it wasn't gender bender.
Although I don’t tend to read genderbent, the fact that physically, there’s no men and there’s futanari is a great bonus. I usually enjoy 1vs1 but gangbang is nice too, especially if it might become a yuri harem. Having the Mc being dominated is great, but I hope you include a scene where the Mc can’t be sexually satisfied so he/she ‘milks’ the dark elves completely. Just a suggestion

Author stories takes time to fully established couples beyond just flirting and teasing. Kammi Kettu took 18 chapters and Pellan Rise - 21 but then their relationships is on very fluffy and cute side. And I and Tsuru get scolded by Moonpearl by linking non accepted links from that source and here we are.... not that links and content are bad I kinda think it's late for that no? But Moonpearl is right that GB tag has most turnoff. But even "futanari" is heavy "NO" for some too you know. So you just can't please everyone.

Actually, while I was browsing through the results of the 2019 survey again, another thing occurred to me: the people who consider futanari yuri and the people who consider gender bender yuri don't necessarily overlap. And of the 3 people who said that they liked futanari, none said that they believed gender bender yuri is yuri (the best result was "sort of"). (I had to dig into the raw data for that bit - forgot to put it in the report, since I didn't think it would be of interest to anyone.) It's not a large sample size, but it's something to consider. Don't know if that means they dislike or wouldn't read gender bender, though. @Myrane66

I think you should at least mention that target gender groups are different and have different tastes and how it could be viewed from yours PoV. In writing hentai scenarios at least. You kinda misunderstand. I mostly point that you should decide what audience you should target. Yuri is different, tastes are different. Gender groups and their tastes are different. If you want to get rid of GB tags in story and retcon it yours decision. You are author - it's your creation. We are only readers of it.
