Reading it right now. Why do villians want to rule the world? Don't they know how much work that takes? Also, they can't seriously think their powers are that powerful do they? One bullet can still kill them. Edit: I feel like an anti-hero would want to rule the world more.
There is one where he has a specific save point being the day he got his ability it's in RRL and it's been a while so I forgot it's name, he experiences the psychological dillema of being on a time loop but there are no major repercussions or such just a guy with his incredible problems
Care to elaborate? I have limited myself to male MC because Self Insert thing (I'm male, so...). I tried to read some stories with FemMC, but my foolish brain prevent me for liking it. Maybe you can tell me the positive and give me some enlightenment? Btw I Am Really a Superstar have save-load feature but the story itself focused on literature. Maybe not perfect, but good story nonetheless.
Spoiler: Some background Some background: I'm also a person that mostly reads for enjoyment and escapism so as a result, I lean towards wish-fulfillment and self-insert. I was introduced to NU through Death March (loli harem and OP MC) and started my anime intro with being really into harem anime so you'd get an idea of what type of reader/watcher I was. I still read for escapism and enjoyment so I still avoid things that have too much drama, heartbreak, bad end, tragedy, or theme-focused. I started reading the usual novels with male MC, starting with JPs, before CN and then KR then RRL, and finally bettering my tastes. Then like most nuffians and readers "I ran out of things to read" (which not really, just that I was experiencing reader's inertia and needed something to jumpstart me again). So I was looking to expand my horizons and get rid of the habits and biases that limited what I've read to increase my reading repertoire. That's how I finally got into reading full blown female MCs (I read some gender-bender male to female yuri MCs before). Spoiler: The explanation/elaboration So now to the explanation: If you've ever read any normal novel on here especially typical (since there are good/great ones too) JP, CN, and KR with male MCs, you'd realize that there's a lot to be desired. I find that for some reason novels with female MCs tend to play to there strengths. Maybe it's just because the TL groups and choices for female MC novels are just better on NU. Or it may be because of a need for quality in a market where male MCs can just rely on self-insert and sex appeal from the male audience. Or maybe something else entirely. JP novel's strength is the kawaii/cute factor as well as the carefree light read factor. Jp non-harem romance is also cute and nice no matter the gender of the MC. JPs are just relaxing and healing. CNs are often better than JP at wish-fulfillment due to the more confident/arrogant MCs and the exaggeration and the audience mob character reactions to face-slappings. CNs are just satisfying. We'll talk about KRs another day as they generally are all good quality no matter the MC, just that there's a small limited amount of TLed novels on NU). Anyhow, JP novels with female MCs tend to be really light and fluffy reads. The romance can be better, but they can, of course, be a little t shoujo and have that blind pink atmosphere that's just too unrealistic. That all aside, really enjoyable and healing reads. Now here's the really big part on why to get into female MCs. Female MCs in CN novels are just the BEST. You really can't get the weak, beta, wimpy, and useless troupe that you have with male MCs who just somehow always gets the chicks or the lustful idiot CN MCs that are just lucky and have harems of jade cold beauties. The female MCs in these CNs have to actually have to be dominating and strong or at least if they are they kind and positive kind, capable and talented, They are badass, have an attitude, and plus (aside from reverse harems and court harems and those novels with the forceful j*cka** male leads) the romance are often really good, with actually nice, capable, and loyal male leads. The humor is also so much better as these novels are more clever with the face-slapping. The female MCs also rely more on their brain and scheming than just their fists leading to some great politics and revenge. So you should really give them a try. Spoiler: The plan The plan: To get into female MCs, you need to 1) be open minded 2) ready to try new things and bear with it 3) gradually get used to female MCs by following this recommendation plan Spoiler: Optional Optional starting point: Try some gender-bender male to female like Only Sense Online The Guild’s Cheat Receptionist Tilea's Worries Nigotta Hitomi no Lilianne (if you aren't into this go to official rec staring point) Start Here: Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear https://www.novelupdates.com/series/kuma-kuma-kuma-bear/ https://mangadex.org/manga/24244/kuma-kuma-kuma-bear You can read the web novel or even the manga which rules. Yeah, playing geopolitical simulators would teach you that lesson. More reality-based (with inflation, civil unrest, economy, international relationship) the more this lesson give. There is this manga/anime where there are ghosts who died during world war 2 and they haunt a cafe, MC could see them and could travel to their time period.
