Discussion TKA = a potential BL material?

    You know, this novel got soooooo many potential to become a bl material for fujoshi, the reason? I'm going to list it... Warning! Potential spoiler!

    1. Almost all of the main cast is male (yes! Even many of the enemy is male!)

    2. The rivalry between main character with other male lead is very strong (example :
    Ye Xiu vs Han Wenqing, Ye Xiu vs Zhou Zekai (this is strong), That Ninja Guy (happy/joyful team) vs Huang Shaotian, Qiao Yifan vs Gao Yingji, etc... The only exception (and to a lesser extent) is probably Tang Rou vs Du Ming
    probably one sided since Du Ming fallen in love with her later, even his friend jokingly comment about his one sided love for Tang Rou

    3. The woman (the exception of Joyful/Happy Team and Misty Rain) got only a little to no screen later, even to the extent that all Female member who play in the professional community only have Male Avatar...

    4. The Interaction with many male member of Joyful Team is extremely close to the point that they even can support each other without typing in the party chat later on (Even to the other enemy too, but IRL not game), or even the many enemy male lead like
    Huang Shaotian and that guy with a defect hand from Blue Rain, Han Wenqing and that strategist from Tyrannical Ambition, and later on
    Sun Xiang and Zhou Zekai to the point they win the award for best duo member

    4. Almost all of the male member is extremely attractive, yes! Just try to watch the anime (the exception is probably their avatar in the game, well that too didn't help much). It's like anime Free! And Yuri!!on ice!

    5. Many of the fanart was dedicated to male lead only, don't believe me? Just check this link for the proof : http://gravitytales.com/page/the-kings-avatar/fan-art
    Even Su Mucheng and Tang Rou got only little Fan-Art

    6. There is only little to no romance toward the female lead, for example Ye Xiu x Su Mucheng is extremely close friend
    it's because her brother is Ye Xiu close friend and the most powerful shooter that even Ye Xiu admit he can't even beat him, when he died Su Mucheng took on his Role as a shooter
    , Tang Rou x Du Ming
    more like one sided since Tang Rou doesn't even care
    , Wei Chen x Chen Guo
    well, their interaction indicated their close relationship, but it's usually only played for comedy effect since Chen Guo have a hate love relationship with him and he always joked around with Chen Guo

    Whew, I don't read TKA, but seeing how you put 6 whole reasons for TKA being a potential BL, I'm guessing that you must be really craving for it.

    I already watched the first 2 episodes of TKA, actually they are really a fujoshi material actually. But, I just don't like the awkwardness of action and I think the MC is way too OP. Although, I've never read the novel, but it kinda a put off for me

    Just like with Yuri, Yaoi can come easily with how so many male characters there. Even if you didn't make a post about this, I'm sure there are many fujoshi out there that's already making their "arts"

    Well, there are so many male characters, there must be some who are gay, statistically...
    I never saw much BL materials in TKA, the guys are so obcessed with the game that they seem assexuals.

    BL's existence in TKA is the same with romance. No matter how people wish for it, it's just not going to happen. You gotta accept that and move on.
