I was letting TTC build up some chapters, but I saw the series had been dropped by the TL (on Qidian) about 6 months back. Is this related to a copyright issue or something? Can it be picked back up?

    Thanks in advance!

I think it was one of the things that has been hit by China's ban hammer because it doesn't produce positive feelings.

No confirmation of dropping this novel from either editor or Translator from Qidian. Another victim of Qidian or there should be Mass release of chapters.

    Victim of Qidan or economics?
People declare proudly they will read at pirate websites like they are doing something to be proud of.
They are shooting themselves in the foot

As you said, I quit investing on those private sites long ago. To get victimized economically is rather stupid especially from dead horse sites. I'd just be a spectator rather than investing my time and energy on them.
Say there seems to be a lot of investors in Qidian, aren't they wasting their economy??

    Qidan is a business.
Popular novels don't get dropped. It's not rocket science.
You buy books that you like.
That's how it has always been.
I know the internet has lead people to think it's their right to get things for free but reality hasn't changed
There are many ways to invest in the novels without spending actual cash which will increase it's popularity eg voting

It got dropped long before the censor hit so it's either not popular enough or the translator got fired.

I think Qidian will focus on Korean novels since they wont have to deal with censorship nonsense.
Maybe this is a good thing for readers. Imagine 100 Korean novels with daily releases

So it was axed due to censorship reasons?

I don't get what people are talking about here: raws or translation, because this discussion seems to have wrong arguments for ether one.
Trafford's raws are still ongoing. According to LNMTL, 4 chapters were released today. So, censorship ether did not hit this novel at all, or barely affected it. So if you want to continue reading it, read MTL.
If people are talking about translations, I don't see any reason why Chinese censorship should matter in the English translations, especially if raws are still ongoing.

Guess people saw it hasn't been updated in months and thought it got axed.
