My question is, will Lin Xintong now proceed to dissolve to something similar as what happened with Lin Meng's wives in Martial World? If so, what will happen to his cultivation technique? Will the crystal cheaply solve the problem or something?

Nah they spend nice time together and crush blood moon together though xintong is mostly accompanying MC and not doing much else. I'm more interested when MC leaves Tian Yuan world to empyrean heavens they split up again and I would like to know if they ever come together again and when is it. Now reading at point where 18 years already passed since they separated and MC doesnt seem to mind much...
