I say it is 100% useless against Makoto due to his just revealed Moon Magic if he can make the moon shoot an orbital laser at his enemies, he can probably make it just blink out and negate the immortality.

it was stated in some of the demons reports about him, that he regenerates extreamly fast during the night.

 

Sofia played with his immortality, and it apparently has some limits, since the regen started to slow down. It could be completely dependent on the time of night, like it was starting to weaken as dawn approaches, but either way, he's still dead if it takes longer than dawn to recover from an injury, like getting turned into ground beef.

Anyone living on Asora would soon change into a different species. Look at the mountain orcs for example. Their current fighting level it is hard to believe they were forced to sacrificed their daughters. It is hard to believe Ema was cornered by a single mamono.

 

He might have been spiritually bonded to the Forest Oni, he considers Mondo his brother, and there's no way a drunk ex-adventurer would have been able to handle their training with Tomoe, while still doing undercover work all around the known world.

Edit: It might be similar to what happened with Shiki's pact, Lime may have been granted powers equivalent to being possessed by someone with different skills. So maybe he really is a combination of his training squad....
