    The ep 1 reviews on ANN's winter preview guide all rate this series as very poor.

    I'd say: wait til the end of the season before giving it a watch.

    Probably because they didnt explain anything, and they actually time skip with 7 years, which make it more confusing.

    Companies arent that brave, why ruin your female protag and risk losing fans, that will read or watch said anime.

    Edit: They will probably throw some stupid reason like, only groping cause the "antagonist" was waiting for the fruit to ripen, or along those lines, of course the standard MC saves female protag and make her forget everything with his magic touch.

    Well she is not a main female protag, from what I understand it's Jeanne. So who knows...
    But consdering that it's japanese generic harem novel most likely it will be something like you said. But why make such retarded plot twist in the first place... It's stupid even by modern jap LN standards.
