Hey, NUF! I was playing UNO with @felidormit and @Darkness04 about a week ago, and it was so much fun, I thought it might be even more fun to have a tournament! So, here's an experimental tournament. As the host, I don't think it would be fair of me to join (*sob* I want to play UNO too!), but if this seems a success, maybe someone else would be willing to host the next one and I can play. (Or, if you want to contact me about playing a less formal game, contact me anytime...) Tagging the people who've already expressed interest: @Tony.T.Rex @Darkness04 @Tilgarial Spoiler: Sign Up Info, Basics, and Rules Sign up: You have one week from the posting of this thread (or declaration of intent to start a new tournament) to add your name to the sign-up sheet. Basics: Games will be played on https://play.unofreak.com/. You will play five matches with your opponent. This is to ensure that each person wins as much through skill as through luck. Once the week is over and everyone is signed up, I will create a randomized bracket. I will then use a flip coin generator to decide who will host each game. The host will go to play.unofreak.com, create a room with a password, and send the link with the room to his or her opponent through the conversation described in Rules. Each round of the tournament will last one week until a winner has been decided. Rules: I will set up conversations for you and your opponent. You must contact your opponent within three days of the round starting to schedule your matches. If you do not, you will be disqualified, and if your opponent has attempted to contact you, he or she will automatically win the round. You do not have to play all five matches at once, but you must play them all within a week of the round starting. Failure to finish the matches within a week will result in disqualification for both of you, unless it can be proven that one of you attempted to contact the other in good faith. You are both expected to keep track of the score, and the winner will announce the results in the pm. In case of score disputes, you will be expected to play five matches again, within three days. i could throw another 5~10k to the prize if you want to make multiple winners. also, i want to play too player vs player the minimum of player for each game is 2 and the maximum depends on many players signing up i guess
My idea was to do 1v1 players so that we could have clear winners and losers. o(^▽^)o Let’s see how many people sign up before we start deciding on how many winners we want, but I’ll keep it in mind!
ah i was hoping for more players for each game. remember how fast we play with 3 peeps? that's why. maybe for the preliminary, you could set a match for many players and for fun!
Either have a finals with multiple participants, and a few more rounds if possible. Or make the preliminarys have multiple participants. Tho with multiple participants it will also be harder to set a time for the game. EDIT: Hmm, should I just tag everyone I can? The more people the better...

Right now it’s only first place, but someone offered to donate for more prizes. I want to wait until we see how many people sign up before considering it.
