Discussion Unsuitable Art for [I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!]

    Is it just me or does anyone else feel that the art for [I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!] just doesn't seem to suit the story very well. To me it just seems too childish, while the story isn't that "mature" I personally believe this story is defiantly more on the Seinen side.

    It's a Shounen JP novel, the art is just fine for that.

    The misunderstanding plot is the one who made this title into Shonen genre just like Eminence in Shadow.
    Personally, I don't really mind with the art although I do wish the guy who did Eminence in Shadow to do it but they do have Mecha in consideration and I like Avid design very much. Give Papa some badass evil Mecha ey ey~
    My only downside is how Christiana designed just like a Heroine, and considering her personality i prefer bishoujo with sharp eyes more, her current design make her look too innocent.

    *minor spoilers*
    it opens with the MC being a middle age man who died from over work because his THOT of a wife racked up loads of debt, got herself a rich lover and cheated on him so much that she admitted she didn't think their children were his and because of her rich lover's lawyer ended up taking everything from him in the divorce while leaving him with the debts and on top of that the rich lover got him fired from his job for no reason. If that wasn't enough, he met a lead supporting character (Tia) when she was hanging from a pirate's wall as living art where in which she was chopped up and mutilated. So while I understand that it being an a Isekai and a misunderstanding comedy makes it less mature, I just can't see this content matching up to an art style meant for 13 year olds.
