Discussion Untouched isekai concepts?

So there are a ton of isekai stories, with various gags, mechanics, settings and so on…
My question is, what's a concept or idea you haven't seen implemented in an isekai story yet, or if you have, haven't seen very much.

For example, there are a lot of "management isekai" where a modern person makes use of their extreme work ethic, modern knowledge, sheer creativity, or some combination of the three… among them is, if there's some sort of need for agriculture reform, using crop-rotations or dead leaves as a sort of fertilizer are common themes.

BUT, that's hardly modern. I want to see an isekai that makes use of vertical farming! What's that? Making buildings with farmed plants inside. In our world, it's impossible without already a semi-modern level of tech, but with magic creating reinforced concrete and magic tools that just emit sunlight, should be relatively trivial. The main benefit to this being that in a walled city like those in medieval times, needs food provided by surrounding villages that can't all have walls. So with a "farm tower" inside the walls, a city can produce its own food, and not need to protect it's villages from Invaders.

The isekai that a modern world with a hidden magic society summon a person of a classic fantasy world

 

I've read it. The underground empire isn't the main focus at first, but comes into play later.

 

Yeah it's more of a side thing that's sort of relevant to the plot, but not really.

 

Isekai where an otherworld great healer is transported to modern world and becomes a great surgeon without magic

 

A reverse Isekai.

 

A magician isekai into the modern era. Oh! I can see it now: "Regarding the magician's reincarnation into the modern era~A heart warming adventure of bringing magic and mana to another world!"

Isekai where a fantasy land character (western or eastern) is transported to a futuristic sci-fi setting? Like post apocalyptic or possibly space opera? Really contrast there.

 

I freaken want an actual engineer (civil or mechanical) for once at least make his knowledge make sense

 

And add - a heart warming adventure into the title or something

 

How about an isekai that is actually just an alien world in our universe. Or how about an isekai where everyone and everything is just gigantic in comparison to a human being

 

Isn't this essentially like Fate/Stay Night, etc.?

 

Maybe if the mc is a cannibal he gets a skill that heals/power ups him when he eats humans

 

An Air Conditioner mechanic falls into a puddle of water due to a wrench falling on his head and becomes transported to another world. His goal is to bring AC to the people.

 

Reincarnated into a dog (no cheat) and tries to conquare the fantasy world and save all innocent animals from the slaughter house....
