heman disappeared under mysterious circumstances, right after reporting that he was dealing with some major health issues, and then several months later Ren appeared saying he could not get in touch with him. Does anybody here know if heman is ok, or what's going on with him? Also, Ren took over USIAW, but hasn't been able to post any new chapters in several weeks. Does anybody know what is happening with the series? I hope heman is alright.
Honestly I can no longer trust He-man... Legend he may be, but it looks to me as if he is gonna dupe his project when he's busy and go MIA for well..months? I can understand with ST, he has no obligations to post and he is not recieving money, but right now with Usaw, he's basically getting donations..
unfortunately since even Ren couldnt get in touch with him... its fair to assume the family member's, who he was taking care of, situation turned for the worst... I hope heman can come back from this...
Dude, if you or a family member was having major health issues would you be thinking, "Damn, I gotta go translate something!" You're probably somebody who donated, so I understand your complaints as somebody who donates too, but seriously, he's not busy, he's half dead(or his relative). I don't think we should expect somebody who has real life issues to translate for us, even if we've given donations. After all, real life should still be first priority. P.S if he's just using major health issues as an excuse, then yeah, I would be angrier than you but since there's no evidence, let's just believe him for now.

Yeah, idunno. Health troubles are, well, troubling. Hopefully he's alright. Imagine it's super awkward for him to resurface, and only getting more awkward as time goes on, though, since he has now established a pattern of silent/mysterious disappearances. As a desolate era reader I'm glad ren isn't making sacrifices to try to force out USAW chapters. I'd rather one of them be released at a really good pace then two get released slowly.For the comment above about donations... the chapters he 'owed' were released, anyway, so... nah, it's cool if he stops. Even if you treat translating as his job because he gets money from it, people quit their job too; sometimes life works out that way. Don't even need the health concerns as a justification, quitting is a valid choice people have.
Ah..I didn't phrase that nicely, I'm not saying he should continue translating but...at least a heads up? Cmn, is accessing the internet such a hard thing to do? At least give the resders a heads up, they donate money to you! Well, all I can say is that you shouldn't trust too much, they will betray your trust. Because posting on the internet is not an impossible thing to do. Of course, unless he is terribly sick/ comma or something else that severe, and if they are at the very least conscious, people with integrity would AT LEAST ask his friends/ families to contact Rwx or post on WW for him, now you tell me I'm wrong?
This like PMG problem all over again. For god sake, a person has RL problems and your telling me that he should prioritize translating over this?
Literally not one person has said that. Why are you getting angry at hypothetical people? The closest is dusk and he's already clarified his stance. Even if someone was making that argument, the situation is nothing like PMG's, because that translator has a constant habit of deciding she doesn't feel like translating, and skipping regular chapters, while then releasing "donation" chapters on top of that. The entire donation chapter setup basically turned into a joke because she changed her own schedule to say "However many whenever I want". That's what had so many people pissed off with her. There was a lot of poorly articulated arguments going around because of people who came in later when she stopped entirely for health issues being pissy, and people whiteknighting for her providing argument fodder and throwing people upset over the ridiculous donation scam setup into the same camp as the "Fuck your life translate instead" psychotics.
True, I agree...... but life just happens sometimes and they forget all about us. So we have lots of complaints(yes this includes me), but what can we do about it? *shrugs* let's just go eat while crying tears of sadness. At least it'll distract us
