I am not too clear on the foreign adaptations.
Are you saying that they are adapting the foreign dramas poorly or they should make more local IP productions?

Mixed of both...But 'Cringey + Dumb down plot for more episode' adaptations for the most part took the cake for me, if there if the TV show has CGI effects, then add 'Bad CGI effects' historically should be added too.

The Chinese Condor Heroes from 2006 had horrible CGI but the story was good enough.
I don't get how people whine about recent Chinese CGI.
Yes the grass is obviously fake, that does not make it bad.
    People are just elitist.
I am sure Filipinos will welcome the current " bad Chinese CGI" that look real except that the colors are "too red" or leaves "too green"

Filipinos react greatly to the animations/CGI, not actually anticipating the story of the series, they think that the CGI looks bad and they criticize the whole series as a poor production, but many still like some tv series even the CGI are that bad.

can't help it about the quality bec it will be a small screen (tv) production so i kind of understand that the cgi would be meh. i'm pretty okay with it, tbh.
