    someone tell me what is the point of this kind of thing?

    while watching some funny cat video and something related to games, i was clickbaited by the title ..
    i never know such a thing exist

    back to the question, compare to normal chat, thing just going up to the next level
    Where normal chat only using image to represent that person, in VR, G.I.R.L can be truly seen as G.I.R.L, you can be loli, you can be busty lady, you can be alien, you can be solid snake, you can be loli with the face of solid snake with gun killing people in that room then get killed by other with the gun

    just what does VR chat does other than letting you being a weirdo as weird you can be??

    It's a place for people who can be themselves without care of being judged. Of course there is a lot of cancer mixed in like in any other game when it attracts the wrong people.

    Most people are normal, chill and only the theatrically weird are popular( among the weird population), it's a way to meet new people by voice and avatars meaning you can polish your presentation. There are traps that can fake a female voice, what else can I say ?
