Do the earth spikes have automatic levitation abilities otherwise it seems like a cruel way to kill someone especially since it won't be an instant kill.

True. I guess most magic will be somewhat cruel if you actually think about it. (Death through impaling, suffocation, slashing, burns, etc.) By stabbing from below I mean that it won't reach the heart and would be a rather slow death. The latest chapter of Wagamama is a Christmas special 。*️ ☃*。

There seems to be nothing new coming along, but just the same old story of how she is conquering people's heart with food and other world knowledge and nothing she does has really meaning and it makes you question where is the story heading to? Also, let's be real, there is no drama in this, no real antagonist. It is not a bad thing, because the story is build on fluff, but I think it may be a reason contributing to why the story may become boring. I also think that it is because the updates are coming in wider distances and during the time, readers forget about it or other more exciting novels come along, which makes you lose interest. But I do hope that the story can be revived in terms of readers' interest, because I remember how much I used to hype it.
I also am getting tired of the repetitive "wow" factor and the cooking. I know its granted that this is basically a cooking series since its slice of life and japanese, but still, I was hoping more plot would come along, or more character development. But so far, its just the same thing over and over again. It would be more important to build up a plot, or some more character development, or let something happen. So far, its been nothing but cooking, cooking, and more cooking, with everyone at the point of doing "orz".
I would also like it if the story starts developing some plot, I mean it was a really cute story at the beginning but with no movement in the plot or any much character development I am slowly losing interest. Hopefully we will see it in future chapters...
Have you forgotten the mystery that made her marry her husband in the first place? He shined as much as the king. I suspect there will be more adventuring coming up and also more royalty plots or nation founding developments coming up. I'm looking forward to resolving the mystery of her husband.
