    Can someone remind me if leylin ever contracts a beast ?

    I seem to remember he had a flying type for a while.

    I can’t remember, was there like that?
    If they can fly by themselves and I remember the airship, nothing else

    He didn't have a contract with it he tamed it or bought a tamed beast (can't remember which). I had to think because it was such an insignificant detail since the thing died only a few chapters after it was mentioned.

    It was a venom dragon or something he got while he joined a light magi faction on the southern continent. It said it had around the strength of a rank 1 magus. He killed it by accident in his fight with that dark rank 2 magus and that electric rank 2 magus pretty soon after the venom dragon thing was introduced.
