I was wondering do you guys sometimes change your voice to a weird overly dramatic Chinese accent whenever reading xianxia and wuxia?
I personally don't I generally read everything in a monologue like voice. ;o but i do scream out at bullshit scenes
I tend to go with flow, following the rhythm and trying to match how the character would probably say in RL. When it's someone like Yue Yang, I just read it in a sarcastic tone. If it's Meng Hao, I tend to make every word he says majestic
do you also laugh kind of stupidly when the antagonist in turn gets owned (by mc u others)? i at least let a stupid grin slip out...
It sometimes changes in rare circumstances depending on what is being said, but it's subtle and I don't even really think about it. Nothing dramatic though, just enough to give the characters a little more definition.
I always emphasized when saying names such as "I,CHU FANG, will kill you. And i CHU FANG kill your family" What I usually say the name in a really loud Chinese voice
All the voices I hear in my head have British accents for some reason even though most come from Chinese characters
Sam with me. It feels like there are voice actors in my mind that do all the work when my eyes move from one word to the next
Sometimes I'll be reading a really epic scene and when the MC says something cool I'll read it aloud really dramatically without realizing... sometime during school... really embarrassing. *blushes just thinking about it*
