well, i must add the fact that you can't bargain if you buy from stores/supermarkets and not from street markets/public markets, where particulars sell local products (fruits, vegetables...). Also, the sellings between particulars are bound to be negociated/subjected to negociations.

in the US, the general consensus is that if there is a price tag then you cant bargain

even if you buy in bulk? For example construction materials (bricks, blanks and so on)? I summon @Shio - so, how do you buy things in your country?

what do you need to read?
well, if you don't buy in bulk, here, i don't think that you'll receive cuts, they'll change the product or... Find an alternative. I think ithat you can ask for a cut if you take by yourself the things and transport them by yourself...

yep, there you can... But only it that's small enough and they are pressed by competition or else you can't. I know that, in some rural areas/villages, small shoops allow you to buy on debit or, sometimes, for products that have a small period of validity and the end is near you can buy for smaller prices or if you buy in bulk. Also, as a exception, if you miss someting like the equivalent of a cent or if your order is big enough and you have to pay with cash and you miss a buck/dollar/euro or two.
