Why It Should Get Picked Up: Never had a dull moment in the story. Amazing main and supporting characters. MC and ML are really made for each other, you'll definitely love them both as a couple and individually. I'm not sure who I loved more between the two though, lol. ML is very indifferent, an out of this world character. Sometimes he will stress you out but most of the time, he will make you lol like crazy. I will never forget his reason as to why he had chosen law as his major, lmao. He's indeed a breath of fresh air! This is probably the best office romance Cnovel I've ever read so far.

    Description: (Translated by Tiramisu Zuki)

When Cheng Yao saw Cash Heng for the first time, she couldn't possibly understand why he was nicknamed 'industry cancer'.

The man in front of her looked brilliant. He was handsome and tall, and his eyes were particularly charming.

'Nonsense! How could someone so good-looking like him be industry cancer?' She thought.

That was until she was severely beaten by socialism - When she tried to persuade her handsome boss on taking a case of public rights protection, her boss gave her a blank look.

"What do you think a successful lawyer should do?"

    "Work with passion?"

    "What's my surname?"

    "Cash, of course!"

"Therefore, I will only work for cash."

    ...

When she asked for a raise, her boss was unconvinced. And at the KTV party he participated in for the first time, he made sure to give her a "reality check".

It was hosted in a small theater. That night, she had drunk too much. Cheng Yao ran to the stage and picked up the microphone.

"What's up with Cash Heng? This guy's amazing! Isn't he impressive? I must have gone insane to let him call me 'baby' that day! I, Cheng Yao, must make this clear! WHAT! GOES! AROUND! COMES! AROUND!"

No one could forget Cash Heng's terrible expression that night...

But what they didn't know was that the next day, Cash Heng pushed Cheng Yao into a corner, and said with an unreadable expression, "Were you satisfied last night, baby?"

I would say the title would be: You Also Have Today
I'm not sure if it could be interpreted differently tho

"You Also Have Today" is a transliteration of 你也有今天 . Used when Person A is being derisive towards Person B's misfortune (usually because Person B did something bad in the past).

So there are lots of English equivalents for the title ... take your pick.

    "What goes around comes around"
    "You get what you give"
    "Karma's a bitch"

My boss said she liked it so I've already started translating~ Once I prepare about 5 chaps or more I'll start posting weekly on Wordexcerpt :)

For the title, I like "What Goes Around Comes Around"

I also already translated the synopsis, so if you want to change the MTL one to the translated one, I can put it here :D

I'm not sure if the context actually fits. "Even you have today" is personal, the phrase is targeted specifically at that particular individual while things like "What Goes Around Comes Around" is a very general statement or observation that does not point a finger at a specific person.

If forced, I'd translate it more along the lines of "You Finally Reap What You Sow", a bit more emphasis that it is a personal grudge rather than a life observation.

Hmm, I don't know, I kind of like the ring of "What Comes Around Goes Around" better. And in the synopsis I'm gonna send right now, I think it's clear that it is a personal grudge. But I'll try keeping an open mind and consider it, let me just think about it more. :3

Thought about "you reap what you sow" too. Think it originates from either Buddhist or Biblical text, neither of which was necessarily negative. I guess the Western usage of it tended to have more negative connotations over time.

Since this sounds like a light-hearted romance novel, I'm guessing something less negative/playful like "What goes around comes around" might work better.
Plus it's a damn Justin Timberlake love song with Scarlett Johansson .. although kinda dark

Yeah actually I do like the sound of "What Goes Round" too, it's the removing of the "YOU" connotations that I was objecting to. It's like saying "Karma sucks" or "Life's a bitch". When you read such phrases is there the idea that someone is gloating at your misfortune or pointing at you? Not really. The title had a "finger pointing" element that was missing if translated that way, hence IMO, the "You Finally Have Your Comeuppance" type translations are a bit more accurate despite not flowing as well because it retains the finger pointing.

    Hello, here's a status update:

Okay, so it turns out that each chapter is 3000 words long, so I've decided to do split chapters of about 1500 words each, which is basically the same length as the novel I'm already translating (Driver of the Beautiful CEO). I've already translated 4 split chapters (2 whole original chaps), and I'm still gonna TL some more before I post.

So far I'm loving the story and I actually learned a bit about the legal industry through translating this XD (FL is lawyer). Sorry for taking so long, please wait with anticipation. o(*^▽^*)o
