Question What happened to ICDS (WW)

    Infinite Competitive Dungeon Society was one among many other Korean novels that were taken down temporarily as a show of good faith by Wuxiaworld while trying to secure rights (If im correct) for said novels in Korea. Previously when I clicked on a chapter I got the message that was a longer version of “if all negotiations go well we are hoping to have everything up and running before christmas” and I assume it was the same for the other Korean novels. I went to check the chapter I was on to see if it was up and it sent me to a “this does not exist” page, and when I checked I could only see 6 Korean novels on the site. Just wondering if anyone knows whether that means the negotiations have failed for the novels not there or if there are some bumps that have required for the novels to be completely taken off WW for now?
    If there was an announcement about this I missed then sorry for wasting your time.

    the negotiations failed and the winner for the bid over Munpia novels was Qidian

    all these people are wrong. toy cars novels are from another publisher so most likely they are still negotiating. The publisher should be E&M something and not munpia. the munpia novels were ones that are being translated mostly by rainbow turtle.

    yeah its not on quidian, and Stop Freindly Fire (same author) is up on the site. so its prob just the completely translated novels that are gunna be down till the negotiations are done.

    Ehm... Munpia doesn't own the rights to the novels. Every Author owns their own novels, so they have to negotiate with the authors themselves. That is the dilemma, since they have to contact more than one person for negotiations.

    This was already mentioned in the original notice. All completed novels were taken down first, then the in progress ones. Later, due to negotiations having "issues," the ones currently being translated are back up, while completed ones are still hidden.

    By the way, with what Qidian is doing right now they're just increasing the number of supporters of Aggregator sites.

    So CN wants rule over the KR novels now?
    @GuldTasken they probably promised to give some fat cash, even if it doesn't receive more viewers then it used to.
