On another note the word babel in the name comes from babel fish. Which is an animal that appears in hitchhikers guide to the galaxy

It is difficult to affect me if I do not see it

What I did is simple:
I broke the status quo
I start a website without being a translator myself
It seemed ridiculous to them that such a fan translation website should exist
I translate novels readers want instead of force feeding what I want on the readers
It seems quite shocking to them
It is just an elitist bunch angered that someone outside their group is involved in their "turf" as they think.

The most pathetic thing is that they respond to every single thread that I can make.
I even pity them now.
It is the same type of people who bullied original authors so much that they quit writing.
They think they have some noble cause but they are just the worse trash : bullies

 

simple, i was writting a lenghty post about it but this is better

anyone that critice him is label a bully, that he pretends to ignore but actually reads it all, thinks his way of doing things is the right one.
particulary the idea of picking any novel that seems to have a big number of reader,
people don't enter his site for only a chapter or two becuase he has a reputation for dropping novels all the time which leads him to drop the novel because it doesn't have enough "support" for it

his business model is nothing more than picking a good novel than another translator dropped, see if the previous patreons will go to him, if not drop

Er... when have I ever derailed threads? I admit, I tend to focus on small details. It’s a problem to me in real life as well. But is that really thread derailing?

 

I actual meant in this case the sites name was probably inspired from that. I know that the actual word comes from Babaylonia. On hindsight I could probably have phrased it a lot better

I click on show ignored content sometimes
