Discussion What is your first anime?

I am unsure if it was Naruto or Slam Dunk, but I've seen them air on tv before. I never watched them religiously, had other things to do. But during the pandemic, my nephew had me watch Slam Dunk on DVD. After that, I purchased Naruto Complete Series Collection for him as a gift and watched everything with him.

 

When I was a kid I'm pretty sure it's Naruto or Pokemon but Death Note is what I consider my very first dip in Anime since that's the show that sparked my interest in the culture.

 

I'd say Fist of the north star, DBZ or Naruto. Those are the three I could remember I think there's also Inazuma eleven go and maybe a little bit of pokemon

 

I would occasionally see them play on tv late at night as a kid and didn’t know what the hell was going but thought they were awesome, but the first I watched from beginning to end online was fullmetal alchemist, not brotherhood, I watched that way later.

Inazuma 11 really put football on the next level, I think I stopped when fricking gods showed up.

Recent: haven't watched anime in 3-5 months so I don't remember what I watched last.

 

Sailor Moon, the very first season and Macross. damn i'm old.

 

At least not as old as those who watched their first animes on VHS

 

I actually watch anime on VHS when I was a student hahaha. Renting anime VHS was a thing back then and the cashier guy became friends with me. I used to go back and forth renting all EPs of Lodoss War as it's not available on TV.
