Well, although it has it's problems, it's still an anime dear to my heart. I also think this video sums up pretty nicely why it got so popular in the first place.

my first was ponyo but i was not really into anime that time.. so the first anime that made me start watching other animes was one punch man.. this is all because of my weeb father..lol

 

Mo Dao zu shi

 

If we exclude pokemon, digimon, beyblade and one piece.... probably Inuyasha. Or maybe Fate stay night, shakugan no shana, burst angel, shuffle, melody of the oblivion or MAI-Hime. Too long ago for me to know which came first but they were generally around that period.

 

Doraemon

 

I think my first anime was sugar sugar rune. I was really in love with the idea of being a magic girl as a child I even remember having a replica of the wand the characters had and their necklaces. Might look for them for the sake of childhood memories soon.

 

Digimon was the first anime I ever saw.

So many memories....

First anime: Ben 10 (on TV), Fairy Tail, Naruto, SAO (learnt of the term 'anime')

Current anime: Yuukoku no Moriarty (S2), Boku no Hero Academia (S5), So I'm a Spider, So What?, Douluo Dalu, Dou Po Cang Qiong, Hua Jianghu Zhi Huan Shi Men Sheng

My first anime was Death Note! I wasn’t actually to get into anime. I was watching (dont judge) the mv for nickleback’s how to save a life. In the vid theres a guy who gets stopped from walking into traffic and how can see peoples time left in life hovering over their heads. I told a friend in art class about it and he compared them to shinjiami eyes & told me to watch deathnote~

 

Detective Conan or Alice Academy I think (the animes that I discovered by my own) But if we're nitpicking, probably Doreamon and Dragon Ball were the really first animes as my stepbrothers would watch that when I was little

 

Ponyo~ when I was a child~
My dad used to watch Studio Ghibli films with my sister and I as babies, but the most memorable for me was Ponyo <3
I remember checking other Studio Ghibli movies out from the public library because my dad didn’t own the others anymore… good times

 

I actually don't remember but maybe it's Inuyasha or Special A.
