recently i was reading second coming of gluttony and god how amazing it got especially the before last arc one spear and two legs was an amazing chapter and i noticed that i understood what makes a main character the description of star evolving was the most fitting description of a main character and how the final evolution is blackhole and supernova makes you hype for how the author will write that evolution and he did a great job god it was amazing what do you think about the comparison of star and main character star starts with small mass then starts to rotate and burn then ends with brightest light cause it is nearing it's end and ends with supernova that leaves behind a vessel that continue this cycle tell me your thoughts
the main character is a character that the story needs for the story to be able to continue. if the character can die or is forgotten, then he was just a phase in the story and not the pillar of the story.
Keep in mind that the lead character is not always the protagonist. Sometimes those 2 character types are separate.
