Googolplex is the largest named number.
The largest conceptual number is n-1 with n representing infinite.

    ∞!^∞!

Which is the sum of all numbers between 0 and the concept of infinity to the power of the sum of all numbers between 0 and the concept of infinity

I get the same feeling after finishing a book I really liked. Sigh the end of a world.

Anyway the highest number is infinity sure it's an idea or a concept but so is the power scale you referred to. When something is as great as the universe which we consider infinite and constantly expanding then that something is of course infinite as well.

    Tangent of 90 doesn't exist... >.>

Btw, just as a point of reference, ! refers to factorial, which would be the product of the numbers from 1 to the concept of infinity. Just pointing that out.

    Just stating my guess
If infinty was never ending string of numbers? then 9 non terminating was considered the highest posible value right?

This is very wrong. Please try to confirm your information before saying it.

A googolplex is not on the same hierarchy of size as the Hyperoperation sequence, which is not on the same hierarchy as Graham's sequence, which is not on the same hierarchy as an infinite number of successively higher computable functions, all of which are below the Busy Beaver function. The Busy Beaver function itself is not on the same hierarchy as Rayo's function.

The largest named number is Rayo's number.

The Rayo function of a number n (Rayo( n )) is the largest number that can be made using n symbols in first order set theory.

    Rayo's number is Rayo(googolplex).

However, it is trivial to construct a number larger than Rayo's number e.g Rayo(Rayo( n )) (however, to the best of my knowledge such numbers haven't been named).

Infinity is not a natural number.
    Tan(90) is undefined.
The limit of Tan(x) is +infinity as x tends to infinity.
I don't think aleph numbers are natural numbers.
    There are.
    This is false.

I woul advise you to take your own advice amd do research on infinity until you finally grok it (start with my links).
You can't divide by infinity, because it's not a number.
    This argument is crap though.
The number used to construct the rest of the natural numbers is zero.
    Aleph one is:
    1. Not a natural number.
    2. Not the largest aleph number (Aleph-omega is larger than it).
    Not true.

This does not make sense (see my above response for why you can't treat infinity as a number).

There is no largest natural number though?

    This does not make sense.

Read my above comment on why you can't treat infinity as a number.

No. There is no largest natural number.

P.S: Sorry for the wall of text, but maths is one of the few things I take seriously. So seeing people spout crap about infinity grates on my nerves in ways you can't imagine.

fine as the limit of x approaching infinity, any number divided by infinity is 0

Limit of 1/x as x tends to +infinity is 0.

Now in java, doubles do have the concept of positive and negative infinity, so there is that.
I know it's not a number, but it was bugging me that his treatment of factorial still made no sense, regardless of the infinity question.

No problem, I'm a bit of a pedant about maths.
