It's not sad. It's no more sad than a gay guy not finding women attractive or a lesbian not finding men attractive. Hell, straight people don't find everyone of the opposite gender attractive either. We all have preferences, and mine, and fellow aces, is simply a general absence of sexual desire for anyone. It's actually quite refreshing not having to pretend to like people in that way. Like we don't have to worry about getting a partner we're compatible with because that's just not something we desire. You don't have to be jealous or worry about cheating or marriage or kids, unless one wants to. You can work with people without any sexual tension, at least on your side. You won't be turned on by a pretty face or a hot body. You don't have to laugh at stupid sexual jokes and you can potentially get a lot more done not having to think about such things. And there's plenty of married Aces. Just because you don't find people physically attractive doesn't mean you can't form a romantic connection. Or can't enjoy romantic stories and such. Asexuals are still very much capable of deep and abiding love. It's not sad. And quite frankly, it's bothered me for days that you think it is, even though I shouldn't have let your casual comment get to me. You don't need to pity me any more than a fish needs to pity a bird in the sky for not swimming.
OMGGGGG!!!!!! i didn't know it would bothered u for daysssssss, what i mean about that sad part was that it's sad not being able to be attracted to someone you know, i used to feel like that too i even announced to everyone that im ace at that time cause i couldn't bring myself to be attracted to any genders be it men or women and honestly it was kind of difficult for me as i feel there would be no romance for me tihis lifetime and honestly tho it was just me being ignorant of things, i didn't mean to make u feel bad about yourself or would want u to think i pity on u cause i don't.
