Resolved Which one should I read?

Hello fellow Nuffians,

I want to start a new novel. Since I'm done with my exams I want to start a long one. I have selected quite a few but I am unable to make the final choice and I would like to borrow your infinite knowledge and endless wisdom to help me. So my question is which one should I read?

Maybe add multiple options for your poll? Also, I am unable to determine my ranking because I don't know what type you feel like reading now. Those are the ones I've read and liked enough to recommend.

 

Legendary Moonlight Sculptor or Stellar Transformation due to 1 being complete and the other having a long length. 2 good novels too.

 

Stellar Transformation -> it's finished and completely translated
then i'd add HJC and MW later, HJC is on hiatus due to translator issues, MW cliff hangers you to death so let it build up to like 2000 chapters lol.
The rest all have their strengths and weaknesses and it's hard to specifically recommend since some love it and some hate it.

p.s. Stella's transformation sounds like a shoujo ai magical girl or a genderbender

 

I'd suggest World of Cultivation as I sincerely love that series, and assuming you can live with the pinyin and the star which mainly focuses on character and world development, I honestly think you will too.
Other than that, Warlock of the Magus World.
Maybe just maybe I could convince you to give Legend of the Cultivation God a try too as I honestly find it to be the best and most relatable xianxia / xuanhuan I've read to date, yes I find it better than Way of Choices.
And if you havn't read it already go for Release that Witch, if you're up for some first class kingdom building.

To answer what are my preferences, I don't have ones I have rather some themes that I dislike such as tragedy, cliff hangers. I'll edit it if I think of something else

 

I'm not really sure if this falls under 'i'm looking for' category types of threads, but hey, I didn't really read the rules a lot anyway.

MW & TMW are both cultivation, a few differences from the standard and a few as the standard.
WoC is also cultivation, but I would say a lot of the readers agree that it's not really considered a standard type of cultivation novel, and it's got... 760s out of slightly less than 920 chapters translated, so if you catch up somewhat soon, you won't have to wait several years to finish it.
ST is also a cultivation novel, so some cliches and some differences, but it's finished at 18 or 19 volumes, so no waiting for updates.
LMS is supposedly in it's last volume, but there have been several translators, so you might have to switch translator every so often to keep reading. Turtle did most of them but was then asked to stop I believe, so another group is doing the (supposedly) last volume. It's not really stereotypical in a lot of ways except the VRMMORPG parts which KR novels like and how the MC is money-greedy due to his past.

Another one that's a bit like LMS is Ark, also completed.

 

What you see, you read. Don’t worry about finding a novel unpleasant. The worst thing that could happen is to avoid a novel which you might like just because of reviews given by other peeps. Bandwagon is a no no

So no tragedy or cliffhangers. I don't think any of the ones I've listed have lots of tragedy. Cliffhangers, eh maybe a little, but I don't remember it being a big deal.

A Will Eternal. I dropped HJC and Stellar Transformation, they lost their charms at the later chapters. As for others, I haven't read them.

 

I don't think anyone actually reads all of Tony's eloquently written rules anyway, most people only learn them by breaking them or watching others break them and having it pointed out.

Read Stellar Transformation~ it's completely translated. Also I suggest I Shall Seal the Heavens. That's completed to. It's by the same writer as A Will Eternal.

There are a couple I'm not familiar with but honestly all of those look solid. You can't choose wrongly.

 

LMS
