Which character has the most fucked up parents ?

 

At first I thought this was gonna be asking the nuf members how bad their parents was ... I was like I got this hands down.

In Mad God the mom get over her issues with Lei Xiang after she got a much needed wake up call to reality (-__-). Sooooo shouldn't u just put the dad?

 

For lei, if your were the one who give birth with the child of your rapper, what will you do? his father is the only one that fuck up, doest care about his offspring unless youre strong

 

Fair enough. But I feel like she is still just acting because he can deliver her to her lover. She is just feigning concern till she gets back her life. Anyway, he is all grown up now and acting like a mom at this time means squat.

 

I understand why she did it. I do not blame her at all (and it is perfectly natural). But I am just saying, from a child's perspective, he had truly shitty parents (whatever legitimate reasons may be).

Edit: I don't know every series but most of them have some kinda 'reason' to abandon/try to kill/etc their child (like some kinda sealed monster, family reasons, 'face', etc) but this one... "Oh, we got an unrecoverable debt! Let's give the debt to our child as Christmas present"

I hate Meng Hao's parents. Ditch their son for some undoubtedly "important" reason, and expect him to still love them, and act like they're doing it for him. Such BS.

It's worse because Meng Hao is still pining after them. He should just forget about them. I get so mad thinking about how there will probably be some big tearful reunion where they'll forgive each other.

EDIT: Actually can anyone spoil me what actually happens when they reunite? Otherwise I'm gonna lay awake thinking about this now.

Long chen mother from dragon blooded war god is also a terrible mother, think that her son cripple she let other people bullied him and want to cut their relationship

 

Du wei's dad o can't really blame him since he was stuck in a very tight space since if the 1st prince did succeed then since du wei had ties with the magic institution then the family would have been in a worse spot. Lin Feng dad is probably in a dungeon set up by the imperial family for trying to get his cultivation back. Mad god the mother was taken hostage and raped whiles never being able to see her true love ever again. Sevens the dad is just brainwashed just like everyone else as you saw in the plaza scene in the Capital. Chu Feng and virtuous wife I'm not sure about. Meng hao's dad said something about destiny which I'm not sure about since they took his older sieternal away and till this point hasn't ever helped meng hao (the song event i believe was the dawn immortal) so I picked that. The other opton I wanted was the mother from dragon blooded war god since she is only a hassle and almost killed her whole entire family and pushed them into a deeper dilemma by being absolutely useless.

 

I am not arguing about the legitimacy of their reasons. Especially Sevens (I am very divided since they are brainwashed). I am just saying from the perspective of a child, no matter the reasons, the child did not receive parental care.

But that being said, I do not feel like what Du Wei's dad did was justifiable. It would have been troublesome but he is a father. A father is supposed to protect his son no matter what. Not throw him under the bus for monetary/power advantage.
