Discussion Why all the yaoi?

You click on it to see what is it then...
Boom, it hits you on the face...
That's how they get you to turn to the other side.
And they update really fast so they have enough following and support.

I haven't seen a yaoi, shounen ai or loli novel in months since the feature was added

 

Or..... try some of Yu Wo's novel like half prince. It's kinda bl, yet also not...blame the gender bender lol

 

I don't understand what your problem is. It's not like someone forces you to read the stuff you don't like, so you could just choose to ignore it. Should people stop translating yaoi or posting it on NU just because you prefer a different genre? I don't think so. There are also readers that dislike harem. They're having a really difficult time finding a story that would suit their tastes, and yet you're whining because of some new yaoi novels... It seems pretty biased. And let's not forget that there are some BL stories like The Founder of Diabolism. This novel has a lot of fans even outside of fujoshi and fudanshi circle.

 

70% of the new novels over the past year are all yaoi, that's my problem...
And I don't think we all have to become fans of Founder of Diabolism just because you said so, either

 

Did I say that you should become a fan of FoD...? I just want to say that yaoi genre is quite wide, so it's no wonder there are more and more BL novels on NU. Anyway, I find it weird that instead of looking for something that would suit your tastes among the hundreds of various translated novels, you chose to start such a pointless thread. There are a lot of BL novels out there and you won't change it by complaining on a forum. The world doesn't revolve around you, time to grow up...

 

Because people like Yaoi.

 

The problem is fujoshis basically swarm half of the sub forums making them just impossible to use on nuf.....

 

I've only really see them fill up the Spoilers section. Are there other places that end up with problems due to being overwhelmed?

 

I don't recall saying anything about the world revolving around me or about how the novel translations should operate.
I've just been avoiding these specific genres for the past few years and, lately, they've been getting more and more frequent that I've just decided to vent my annoyance on this forum.
Cause I figured that's what forums are for.
And I'll admit, I was indeed expecting someone like you to show up and start bitching to me about societal equality, cause not everyone get the true meaning of a forum, but I'll fight back anyways! Because why not~

 

Spoilers is perma occupied by them and sometimes, atleast when nuf was more active, you would get a lot of yaoi related threads in general/novel discussion section I think......sure they might not have a monopoly like in spoilers but it was annoying.
Also lcd and suggesting novels to get translated parts of forum used to have them, dunno now.
At the very least Spoilers is a minefield currently.....
The most annoying part is when both threads displayed on nu are bl related.....just ewww

 

Well, I voiced my opinion just as you did, but I guess if someone disagree with you, then it's called 'bitching'... Just try to familiarize yourself with filtering option and you won't have to be annoyed by BL anymore
