Just curious...it's so ridiculously long and repetitive even compared to other xianxia, so why would you read up to chapter 4923?
Probably cause people are too invested in it already? At least MC in it has balls. I've read it till chapter 1500 several years ago and then stopped (I was finally bored and there were not more chapters available at that time). I've never touched MGA again after it, but I can still say that it's not much worse than any other new usual xianxia that's just started to be translated in 2021. 15 years has passed but it's still the same old cliches with the same old ass-weak to strong in any new read. What's the point of starting to read basically the same thing from the start when you can continue something you're already familiar with.
Because there are still these kinds of threads being made, and there have to be people who can give genuine replies... ?
You're implying that I even touched that garbage and any similar xianxia with a ten foot pole. The answer is sunk cost fallacy. People have sunk too much time reading that garbage to stop or else they admit that they wasted their time reading it. Sound like cope to me.
oh, i remember never got past chapter 1070 of that novel......because i caught up with the translation and later didn't bother to pick up. But i can tell with confidence that if i'm reading garbage is because im extremely bored and anything is fine as long i can pass times...
Could you take two seconds to write out the name of the novel you're talking about, or at least put it in the tag? Like seriously why do people just assume everyone has every single acronym memorized? There is literally thousands of stories on this site, it just isn't possible to keep track of all that shit. EDIT: Oh so it's Martial God Asura. Just checked the front page to see if I could find any novels with a MGA acronym and there it was. My original point still stands though.
I don't read it, but i can understand if it is something that is uploaded regularly and in short pieces. It's easy to not notice how you'd already read an encyclopedia's (do people still use those?) worth of text. Or it's the box of chocolate situation: you tell yourself, just a bite more, and before you notice, you annex a sovereign country to raid their chocolate supplies
Having the balls in xianxia isn't an issue lol. Nope, it's infamous enough that everyone knows it by acronym. Besides back in the days we knew all the popular ones here by acronym, there was even a thread in Chinese forum about us how we know things by acronym.
